- Wikipedia - 3-androstanediol
3-Androstanediol, also known as 5-androstane-3,17-diol, and often shortened to 3-diol, is an endogenous steroid hormone. It is a 5-reduced and 17-hydroxylated metabolite of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) as well as a 3-hydroxylated metabolite of dihydrotestosterone (DHT). 3-Diol is a selective, potent, high-affinity full agonist of the ER, and hence, an estrogen.
